Zelenskyi met with the Minister of Defense of Norway: they discussed increasing the supply of weapons

On Friday, March 10, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.

This was announced by the head of Ukraine on Facebook.

"Norway has supported Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale war and has done a lot for our soldiers, so that they are strong on the battlefield. We appreciate it," the message reads.

Zelenskyi said that the key priority of Ukraine is the strengthening of the Armed Forces. During the meeting, they discussed increasing the supply of weapons and speeding up the delivery of already announced aid.

"I thank the government, the parliament and the entire people of Norway for the comprehensive assistance to Ukraine and our people," the president added.

We will remind that the Norwegian Parliament approved a five-year program of support for Ukraine. 75 billion Norwegian kroner will be allocated for it, which is almost 7 billion euros.

Norway is sending eight Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine to bolster military power in the war against Russia. Additionally, four more special purpose tanks will be provided.
