There is no capacity deficit in the energy system of Ukraine on the morning of Saturday, March 4. At the same time, tomorrow the energy companies will start additional repairs in the Odesa region.
This is reported by "Ukrenergo".
"There has been no capacity deficit in the power system for 21 days in a row and it is currently not forecast," the report says.
At the same time, there are currently no network restrictions in the "Ukrenergo" networks, which would cause the need to restrict consumers, in the regions.
At the same time, tomorrow, Sunday, March 5, the energy industry will begin additional repair work on power facilities in the Odesa region, which will improve the reliability of power supply in the Odesa region. Preparatory work has already begun.
"These are complex works on high-voltage equipment, so temporary consumption restrictions are possible on Sunday and Monday. The work is being carried out on energy facilities that have been repeatedly damaged by enemy shelling and may have hidden damage," the message reads.
The company notes that the restoration of the operation of these objects, unfortunately, does not exclude the risk of failure of other elements of the network that supply Odesa, which may occur during the repair work.
As reported, Ukraine is not only restoring destroyed energy facilities after the Russian strikes. The country is also working on a new format of power plants and substations that will allow to better protect the system from missile attacks.
As a reminder, Ukraine and the ENTSO-E network have agreed to increase the possibility of importing electricity to 700 MW at any time.
