The United for Justice conference will be held in Ukraine today, March 3. It is a kind of "legal Ramstein" that aims to unite efforts to bring Russia to justice for crimes committed.
"This conference aims to become a kind of "legal Ramstein" - to gather all those involved in bringing Russia to justice not only here in Ukraine, but also at the international level," Kostin said.
According to him, at this conference there will be guests who will come to Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war.
"How does this conference differ from others? It will be a conference that for the first time during a full-scale aggression covers all elements of the responsibility of the aggressor country," Kostin noted.
He drew attention to the fact that before this there were many events that took place in different countries, but they were narrowly themed.
"Here we will talk about everything - and about responsibility at the national level, at the level of the International Criminal Court, about the creation of the Special Tribunal, the compensation mechanism, the most serious crimes such as genocide, crimes against children, crimes related to sexual violence in conflict. All these components will be considered at this conference," Kostin said.
