The "Redan" movement from the Russian Federation is gaining popularity among Ukrainian teenagers. Its members organize mass fights in public places.  Mass arrests of teenagers

On February 26 and 27, the police prevented large-scale fights among young people in a number of regional centers of Ukraine.

Groups of teenagers gathered near shopping centers and in city squares as part of a flash mob of the "PVK Redan" group, created on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Actions were organized in Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkassy, Dnipro, Poltava, Zaporizhzhуа.

In many cities, law enforcement officers managed to prevent clashes. The participants of the "flash mob" were detained and preventive conversations were held with them.

So, on February 27, fighters in the Pechersk district of the capital prevented it. Near the "Gulliver" shopping center, two groups of teenagers tried to arrange a wall-to-wall fight with knuckle dusters and gas canisters.

In Kharkiv, on Monday, 245 people who were planning a fight near the Nikolsky shopping center were taken to police stations. Only 30 of them turned out to be adults.

Knives, brass knuckles, and gas canisters were seized from the teenagers. 72 administrative protocols were drawn up for offenders. Today, the police searched the possible organizers of the clashes.

A mass fight was also planned in Odessa. On February 27, supporters of the Russian subculture "Redan" gathered for an "arrow" with another youth movement near the "Panorama" shopping center. The police discovered the announcement of a flash mob in social networks, thanks to which it was possible to warn in advance of a fight.

The "Redan" movement originated in Russia. Most of its participants are teenagers. They dress in black clothes with spider prints and the number "4".

These symbols were used by the heroes of the Japanese anime series "Hunter x Hunter" - criminals from the "Genei Redan" gang, which is probably the reason for the name of the subculture.

"Redans" in the Russian Federation organize fights with football fans, migrants and representatives of other subcultures, including the so-called "offniks".

They call themselves informals who can stand up for themselves, but deny involvement in criminal or military organizations, and use the acronym PMK as a joke.

Last weekend, 350 members of the movement were detained in Moscow, who tried to start a fight in one of the shopping centers. The police also prevented clashes in St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk and other cities.

At the same time, Russian propagandists claim that there is no such thing as "PK Redan" and that it is allegedly "a provocation by the Ukrainian special services."

The subculture is gaining popularity in Ukraine

In recent weeks, the "Redan" movement began to spread throughout Ukraine. His activity is coordinated in social networks.

Through Telegram channels, the organizers announce the place and time of gathering for fights in big cities. The average age of flash mob participants is from 14 to 17 years old.

Opponents of the "Redans" are also gathering together to "disperse" them.

 IPSO of Russia

Law enforcement officials believe that the Redan Communist Party movement is a provocation of the Russian Federation with the aim of destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.

The Kyiv police said that fights among young people in Ukrainian cities under the influence of Russian subculture are an attempt by propagandists from the aggressor country to carry out another informational and psychological operation using Ukrainian teenagers.

As the head of the Kharkiv region, Volodymyr Tymoshko, noted, the Russian FSB, through deception and manipulation, gathered people into groups who were supposed to stage a large-scale fight in the center of the city, and then "the TV of the understate could enjoy it."

Tymoshko called on parents to be attentive to their children, maintain constant contact with them and help them understand what is happening.

"The war is not only on the battlefield. The enemy wants to destroy our country and uses our children to achieve their bloodthirsty goals," he emphasized.
