The Russian occupiers can theoretically start their offensive again from the territory of Belarus. Their movements are constantly monitored.
This was stated by the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deyneko, in an interview with journalist Dmytro Komarov.
According to the head of the DPSU, Russia is now actively using the territory of Belarus, but he is very skeptical about such data due to the information of our intelligence.
"Theoretically, they can attack. We monitor the movement of the forces of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are on the territory of Belarus... It is impossible to say whether they will attack or not. We are not objectively observing a threatening situation now," he emphasized.
It is worth noting that Deinek's comment was taken on February 22, 2023.
At the same time, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, noted that, as of now, such an attack is "absolutely unrealistic."
"This will not happen and is not in the plans," Budanov stressed.
It will be recalled that on February 18, the GUR noted that there is no risk of an invasion from Belarus in the coming weeks.
