Acting Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia Ambassador Andriy Kasyanov made a sharp criticism of the Georgian authorities and members of the "Georgian Dream" party.
In particular, he commented on the words of the head of the ruling party Irakli Kobakhidze that Russia currently has an advantage in Ukraine.
"Unfortunately, we were not surprised by another irresponsible statement by a politician who calls himself Georgian, but previously voluntarily gave up the high chair of the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, which was entrusted to him by the Georgian people, to a worthless member of the State Duma of Russia (Serhii Gavrilov - ed.)," Kasyanov said. .
The diplomat says that Kyiv cannot ignore the statements of pro-government politicians.
"We condemn the fact that individual pro-government deputies continue to dance to the tune of the Russian war criminal Shoigu on the blood of the Ukrainian people and Georgian volunteers," he said.
Kasyanov advised "sofa generals to familiarize themselves with geography and geometry textbooks" in order to find out which territories and cities of which importance were liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the "relentless war unleashed by Russia."
