The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary is working on the preparation of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's visit to Kyiv.

 This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, Peter Sijarto, in an interview with Index.

 Sijarto answered the question why Prime Minister Viktor Orban has not yet visited Kyiv.

 "When the visit is in time, the Prime Minister of Hungary will also go, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently working on his preparations," said the Hungarian diplomat.

 Siyarto also informed that he personally did not receive an invitation to visit the Ukrainian capital.

 "If I receive an invitation and we can agree in advance on a meaningful topic and the time of the visit, I will gladly go, but such an invitation has not yet arrived," he said.

 Orban's press secretary Bertalan Havashi previously confirmed that President Volodymyr Zelenskyі invited Orban to visit Ukraine during a meeting within the framework of the European Union summit in Brussels.

 It will be recalled that the day before Sijjarto called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and direct negotiations between the presidents of the USA and Russia to end the war.
