Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi held talks with US President Joe Biden, saying it was a conversation that "brings our joint victory in this war closer." He said this after the meeting today in Kyiv.
"We held talks with Mr. President of the United States in a tête-à-tête format, and then in an extended format. It was a conversation that really brings our joint victory in this war closer. We can and must make it so that this very year, 2023- and became the year of victory," Zelenskyi said.
The President emphasized that "this unprovoked and criminal Russian war against Ukraine, the whole of Europe and the democratic world must end with the cleansing of all Ukrainian land from Russian occupation and firm guarantees of long-term security."
