China's top diplomat - the head of the office of the CPC Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Commission Wang Yi arrived on a visit to Moscow - the final stop of his European tour, which ends on February 22.

"Wang Yi will conduct an in-depth exchange of views with the Russian side on the development of relations between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation at a new stage, as well as on pressing international and regional issues of mutual interest," said Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Wang Wenbin on the eve of the visit.
The head of Chinese diplomacy arrived in Moscow on Sunday evening, the visit will last for two days. The program of Wang Yi's meetings in Moscow has not yet been announced by the parties.
Last week, Wang Yi attended the Munich Security Conference, where he held talks with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
