In August, Bulgaria will leave the shareholders of the Russian International Investment Bank, after that only Hungary will remain among the EU countries.

On Thursday, the International Investment Bank received an official notification from Bulgaria that the country will terminate its membership of the bank as of August 15.
Slovakia and the Czech Republic have already left the bank's shareholders, and Romania will do the same on June 9.
At the end of January, the bank's management held a meeting in Budapest, and in its statement it indicated that Russia would reduce its weight in the bank.
The bank moved to Budapest in 2021, in addition to Hungary and Russia, it also retains Cuba, Mongolia and Vietnam, and Serbia may even join.
The International Monetary Fund is a supranational intergovernmental financial organization founded in 1970 by member countries of the Council for Economic Mutual Assistance.
The key owner of the MIB is Russia.
