US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Estonia on Thursday, February 16, to meet with Prime Minister Kaya Kallas and Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur in Tallinn.

They will discuss support for Ukraine, defense cooperation between Estonia and the USA, as well as NATO-related issues.
"I thanked the USA for its commitment to the defense of every centimeter of NATO territory and the work on implementing the decisions of the Madrid Summit," Kaya Kallas wrote on Twitter.
Lloyd Austin became the US Secretary of Defense in January 2021. Before becoming a minister, Austin managed to get the rank of general.
