American investment company J.P. Morgan will help Ukraine attract private investment to rebuild the country.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Economic News informs.
"The best recipe for the recovery of Ukraine is not only the attraction of public funds, but also the mobilization of private capital," said Economy Minister Yulia Svyridenko.
Svyridenko emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs investments for recovery and post-war economic growth, identifying the following priority areas: energy, agriculture, natural resources, digital technologies, as well as transport and other infrastructure.
J. P. Morgan will advise Ukraine on financial stabilization, obtaining sovereign credit ratings, managing public liquid assets, digitizing the economy, identifying opportunities for establishing close economic ties with Europe, as well as creating an institution that would guide and protect public and private sector investments and/ or facilitated trade flows.
