The former people's deputy of the 8th convocation from the "People's Front" faction Ihor Kotvitsky and the under-sanctioned oligarch Pavel Fuchs are being searched.
This is reported by law enforcement sources.
The searches are being conducted within the framework of the case of abuse of office by Nadra Ukraine officials.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the joint-stock company was engaged in investment projects in the geological exploration industry. Due to the conclusion of a series of agreements regarding his property, property worth tens of millions of hryvnias illegally disappeared.
All these companies were connected with the sanctioned oligarch Pavlo Fuchs and ex-people's deputy Igor Kotvitskyi. As a result of the illegal activities of officials, Ukraine lost the right to the Sakhalin oil and gas field in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, more than 1 billion hryvnias were spent from the state budget on the development of this deposit. Gas deposits at this facility amount to at least 15 billion cubic meters.
The Security Service of Ukraine reports that the following were found and seized as a result of the searches:
draft records and documentation that confirm illegal operations of commercial structures under their control;
means of communication and computer equipment;
about 300 thousand dollars, 250 thousand euros and 1.5 million hryvnias in cash
Currently, the investigation is part of a criminal case under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code continues.
We will remind you that on June 24, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the NSDC decision on sanctions against oligarchs Dmytro Firtash and Pavel Fuchs.
