President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, returning from Brussels after participating in the EU summit, met with President Andrzej Duda in Rzeszów, Poland.

As Marcin Pshidach, head of the international policy department of the Office of the President of Poland, emphasized, the meeting between the presidents of Poland and Ukraine took place late Thursday evening and lasted for more than two hours.
"President Zelenskyі told the president about his latest diplomatic activities and a series of meetings in Brussels and other European capitals. The conversation also concerned the planned further diplomatic activities of the president and the formation of the agenda on the eve of the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius. Next week, President Andrzej Duda will meet with the Secretary General of NATO. therefore, this exchange of opinions and information between the presidents of Poland and Ukraine in the context of these events is very important," Pshidach said.
According to him, the presidents also discussed the current situation at the front and the security situation in the region, as well as the need for further joint efforts to provide military support to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
"The conversation also touched on the topic of sanctions. President Zelenskyі thanked President Dud for the support that Poland provides to Ukraine, including for the care of millions of Ukrainian refugees," Pshidach added.
