Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo visited Kyiv for the second time and presented 10 generators to the capital.
She announced this on her pages, and the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, also spoke about the visit.
Ann Hidalgo said that she wants to emphasize the friendly ties between Kyiv and Paris in this way, that the courage demonstrated by Ukraine commands respect, and Kyiv can always count on support.
Ann Hidalgo spoke in the hall of the Kyiv City Council.
Vitaliy Klitschko said that the donated generators will be installed in schools and heating stations.
We will remind, for the first time Ann Hidalgo came to Kyiv in April 2022. On March 22, the city council of Paris symbolically granted Kyiv the status of "honorary citizen", this is the first case of assigning this status to another city.
