A monument to Soviet Army General Mykola Vatutin was dismantled in Kyiv.
In the capital, the monument to General Vatutin, erected in 1948 at the place of his burial at the entrance to Mariinsky Park, was dismantled.
Utility workers removed the 3.65 m-high bronze sculpture from the pedestal with the help of a crane.
