The President recalled that in the first days of the full-scale invasion, namely on March 1, 2022, the European Parliament recommended granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership. According to him, it was "a vision that motivated us to be resilient and stay on our path."
Zelenskyі said that today during the meeting of the European Council, he will have the opportunity to thank the heads of the EU member states for their support to the country, in particular, for the large-scale military support that the bloc provided "for the first time in history" and the "positive" training. assessment of internal reforms in a European country that is being defended".
