The Minister of Education and Science of Germany, Bettina Stark-Watzinger, arrived on a visit to Kyiv on Monday morning.
She wrote about it on Twitter.
"I came to Kyiv. I will exchange ideas with our Ukrainian partners regarding further support for education and science. We are firmly on the side of Ukraine, both in the military and in the civilian sphere. This is necessary even today, during the war, but also for the purpose of recovery ", the message says.
Stark-Watzinger arrived in Kyiv by train and published a photo from the capital's train station.
We will remind you that on February 2, a large-scale event took place in Kyiv - a joint meeting of the Government of Ukraine and the European Commission, which was attended by 16 members of the European Commission - the majority of its members - including President Ursula von der Leyen.
Such trips of the European Commission's collegium are an unprecedented event.
