Helicopter crash in Brovary: law enforcement officers came to search Avakov

The law enforcement officers came with searches to the former Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, which are connected with the fall of the helicopter in Brovary and the death of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The information was confirmed by Avakova's spokeswoman Natalia Stativko.

 

 "Searches were conducted in different locations. They are connected with the fall of the helicopter. Law enforcement officers looked at Airbus contracts from 6 years ago. Nothing was removed. Contracts were approved by the government and parliament. They behaved correctly, that is, they formally worked out the version," the press secretary said.

 

 On the morning of January 18, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service fell in Brovary near a kindergarten and a residential building. On board was the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yurii Lubkovich - as part of the operational group, as well as 3 crew members. All 10 people on board the helicopter died.

 

 A total of 14 dead are known, including 1 child, and 25 injured, including 11 children.

 

 The SSU opened production, released three versions.
