The Prime Minister of Denmark arrived in Mykolaiv

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen arrived in Mykolaiv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyі announced this on his Facebook, publishing a video of the meeting with Frederiksen.

"Together with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, he visited the wounded Ukrainian defenders in one of the hospitals of Mykolaiv," he wrote.

We will remind, at the request of the authorities of the Mykolaiv region, Denmark handed over about 11 tons of equipment for the establishment of water supply and heating under the conditions when the Russian strikes partially destroyed the power system.

As part of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, Denmark assumed responsibility for the reconstruction of Mykolaiv.

The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously allocated 119.5 million Danish kroner (16 million euros) for winter preparations in Mykolaiv and Kremenchuk, focusing on building repairs and emergency repairs to water and district heating systems.

After that, in December 2022, an aid package for Ukraine in the amount of 265.6 million euros was approved, of which 75 million euros were directed to humanitarian support, and 190.6 million euros to solving priorities of critical importance for Ukraine in the energy sector.
