Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, after a conversation with the Italian foreign minister Antonio Tajani, said that Italy will join Ukraine's initiative regarding a special tribunal to investigate the crime of Russian aggression.
"Today, Antonio Tajani and I discussed the next package of military aid to Ukraine. I welcomed Italy's decision to join the key group for the establishment of a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
He also urged his Italian colleague to introduce sanctions against Russia's missile and drone production.
In turn, the head of the Italian Foreign Ministry said that in the conversation with Kuleba he confirmed "Italy's full support for Ukraine", in particular in the pursuit of a just world, as well as the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
