Putin was threatened with a "prolongation" of the war and trouble in case of supplying tanks to Ukraine

The Kremlin threatened Ukraine in case of delivery of British Challenger 2 tanks. They believe that new deliveries will only "prolong" the war and cause trouble for Ukraine.

This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmytro Peskov.

"We assess and perceive very negatively (the supply of tanks, - ed.). Here we do not hide our attitude. Great Britain, other European countries - Poland, etc., which are now talking about their intentions to organize a new round of supplying new, more advanced technological military equipment for Ukraine - are not capable of changing the situation on the spot. They must understand this. They are capable of dragging out the whole situation, causing more trouble to the state of Ukraine," he said.

According to Putin's press secretary, Ukraine is allegedly being used "as a tool to achieve their anti-Russian goals."

"Nothing can change this. The special military operation will continue. These tanks are burning and will burn - just like the rest. The goals of the special military operation will be achieved," Peskov added.

As reported, Great Britain has officially confirmed that it will provide Ukraine with Challenger 2 tanks, as well as additional artillery systems.
