A large-scale road accident involving 40 cars took place in Poland

In the south of Poland, there was an accident involving 40 cars, half of them were seriously damaged; eight people were injured.

 This is reported by RMF24.

 The accident happened in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship on the S74 road near Kielce around 6:30 in the morning.

 According to the latest information from the rescuers, 40 cars were injured, which collided on a section about 600 meters long. After the collision of the first two cars, other drivers did not have time to orient themselves and brake due to poor visibility and icy conditions.

 Eight people were injured in the accident. Two were hospitalized, but there is no threat to their lives.

 24 cars were seriously damaged.

 The road in the direction of Kielce may be closed for a few more hours until the documentation and clearing of the road is completed.
