Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal says that the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and more than ten European commissioners will visit Ukraine in the coming weeks.
"We see that our European partners are determined for productive cooperation in the issue of integration. A clear evidence of this will be the visit of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in the coming weeks. We expect that together with Mrs. von der Leyen, more than 10 European commissioners will arrive in Ukraine to hold intergovernmental meetings consultations," Shmyhal said at the government meeting on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister, this visit will not only be an important signal for further support of Ukraine in the war, but will also demonstrate that the European Union is open to the negotiation process regarding Ukraine's accession.
