The Vice-Chancellor of Germany urged the government not to prevent other countries from transferring Leopard tanks to Kyiv

German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck demanded that the country's government not prevent other countries from transferring heavy weapons to Ukraine from Germany. Welt writes about it.

Habek is worried that the supply of Leopard tanks from Poland to Ukraine may be disrupted due to objections from the German leadership.

"There is a difference between making a decision for yourself and preventing others from making a decision. And, accordingly, Germany should not stand in the way when other countries make decisions in support of Ukraine, regardless of what decision Germany makes," said the politician.

The publication reminds that until now the German government has rejected requests for the supply of tanks to Kyiv.
