The partners' decision to transfer heavy equipment to Ukraine will strengthen the offensive capabilities of the Armed Forces. However, long-range ATACMS missiles or their analogues will provide a point in the demilitarization of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak on Twitter.
Podolyak welcomed the decisions of the USA, France and Germany. He said that additional Patriot systems will help "close the sky" over Ukraine. At the same time, the armored vehicles Bradley, Marder, AMX, which the Ukrainian troops may soon receive, will strengthen offensive capabilities.
The adviser to the head of the VP emphasized that Ukraine expects a decision from its partners on the provision of Leopard tanks and long-range missiles.
"ATACMS and analogues will provide a point in the demilitarization of the Russian Federation," Podolyak noted.
