It is too early to say what Israel's position will be regarding the war in Ukraine - Kuleba

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized that Israel is not an easy country, and it is too early to say what exactly Israel's position will be regarding the war in Ukraine.

"Israel is a difficult country. There is experience of interaction with Mr. Netanyahu in Ukraine, we have heard the statements and actions of the new Israeli foreign minister. Now, to be honest, it is too early to say exactly what Israel's position will be. I can roughly imagine it, but let everyone see it first," Kuleba said during an online briefing on Wednesday.

It should be noted that earlier the new Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said that there would be "some changes" in Israel's approach to the war in Ukraine, but noted that significant humanitarian aid to Ukraine would be continued. According to Cohen, "in the Russia-Ukraine issue, we will do one thing for sure - speak less publicly."
