The state budget deficit for 2022 reached UAH 911.1 billion, including UAH 909.5 billion for the general fund. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance.

 "For 2022, the state budget was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 911.1 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 909.5 billion, against the planned deficit of the general fund for 2022 in the amount of UAH 1,399.5 billion", - reported the Ministry of Finance with reference to the operational data of the State Security Service.

 In December, the actual deficit of the state budget, as reported, amounted to UAH 99.0 billion, including the general fund - UAH 101.3 billion.

 According to the Ministry of Finance, in 2022, the general fund of the state budget received 1,491.1 billion hryvnias. In particular, UAH 480.6 billion. received in the form of international aid (grants). In 2022, the income of the Social Security Administration to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds amounted to 425.3 billion hryvnias.

 Cash expenditures of the state budget last year, as noted by the ministry, amounted to UAH 2,702.4 billion, in particular, the general fund – UAH 2,410.0 billion, or 92.2% of the schedule for the reporting period. At the same time, in December 2022, cash expenditures of the state budget were made in the amount of 408.8 billion hryvnias, including the general fund - in the amount of 330.5 billion hryvnias.

 Actual state borrowings to the general fund of the state budget for 2022, according to operational data, amounted to UAH 1,261.1 billion. or 67.3% of the planned for this period. UAH 666.9 billion was raised from the placement of OVDP bonds. 597.2 billion hryvnias were raised due to the issuance of military OVDP bonds, including hryvnias 400 billion through the purchase of the property of the NBU. UAH 564.2 billion was raised from external sources.

 Payments for repayment of the state debt for 2022 amounted to UAH 448.6 billion (99.4% of the plan), maintenance payments – UAH 156.5 billion (94.7% of the plan).

 In 2023, Ukraine expects a budget deficit of 38 billion dollars, and expects to close it thanks to partners.
