The President of Bulgaria criticized the parliament's decision on military supplies to Ukraine

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev called the deputies who approved the military aid package for Ukraine "war mongers".

He said he was upset that he could not veto the law because it was passed by a constitutional majority.

The President noted that the supply package does not include aircraft, air defense systems and tanks, as this would weaken the strength of the Bulgarian armed forces.

"Unfortunately, the warmongers in the parliament decided by an overwhelming majority of votes on military aid to Ukraine. Thus, they obliged the interim government to conclude a contract with Ukraine for such assistance," said Radev.
