US President Joe Biden signed the bill on the defense budget in the amount of 858 billion dollars, which provides 800 million dollars for Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the White House.
The bill provides for appropriations for programs of the US Department of Defense, military construction, national security programs of the Department of Energy, intelligence programs, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Maritime Administration, and others.
The project also provides for:
$6 billion to contain Russia in Europe;
800 million dollars to help Ukraine.
In particular, the document records the extension of the ban on cooperation between the US and Russia in the military sphere for five years.
