President Volodymyr Zelenskyi talked about the agreements reached during his visit to the USA, and revealed the conditions under which he is ready to make other visits abroad. Zelenskyi stated this in his speech at the meeting of ambassadors on December 23.
"Yesterday, I returned to Ukraine from the United States of America. It was my first visit abroad after February 24 – to a key ally of Ukraine. It was a productive visit," Zelenskyi said.
Among the results, the head of state mentioned the decision to strengthen air defense, the work of Congress on a powerful financial package for Ukraine and global security in the amount of 45 billion dollars, significant strategic agreements with the United States for the coming months, which will strengthen the capabilities of the Defense Forces in key areas.
"I urge you to consider this visit as a guide as a set bar," the president said.
Zelenskyi also did not rule out that he will make personal visits abroad in the future.
"If any visit will potentially have the same significant strategic content as my current visit to the United States, if our Armed Forces, all our Defense Forces will directly depend on the results of the visit, if one or another of our partners is ready to take the lead in implementing the points of the Ukrainian formula world, if there can be decisive steps to accelerate our victory, then as an exception to the general practice of wartime, my negotiations can be on a personal level as well," the president emphasized.
