Raimund Andrzejczak, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, arrived in Ukraine for a visit. He has already met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny. Zaluzhny's official Telegram channel reports this.

 "I had the honor to welcome to Ukraine the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and my friend General Raimund Andrzejczak," Zaluzhny wrote.

 According to him, the visit of the head of the Polish General Staff is an opportunity to openly discuss the security situation in the region and scenarios for its development.

 "I thank you that Ukraine is not alone in resisting Russian armed aggression, and this is a huge merit of the Polish brothers," - said Zaluzhny.

 In turn, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces thanked the Polish general for the international military assistance provided, which includes weapons, military equipment, ammunition and necessary materials.

 "I appreciate the opportunity to conduct professional training of our servicemen on Polish territory. Together, we implement the strategically important decision on Ukraine's transition to the heavy armament of NATO member states. Deep gratitude to the Polish side for the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers," concluded Zaluzhny.
