The next two or three months of the war may be decisive - Danilov

The next two or three months of war may be decisive in the war against Ukraine. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with the Voice of America.

"We are preparing very actively for the next two to three months, which may be decisive at this moment," Danilov said.

He explained that despite the fact that the position of the entire world community is against the Russians, they do not realize that in order to minimize the consequences directly for their country, they would need to leave now. However, as Danilov pointed out, the Russian troops continue to advance anyway, because they have already "put everything on the line".

"We understand that today there is no possibility of the Russian Federation defeating us in an open battle. They are now driven to a dead end. And a rat that is driven to a dead end is the most dangerous", - stressed the secretary of the NSDC.

He also added that, despite the fact that the Ukrainian military is "preparing as much as possible", still "the help of our partners is very necessary."

"And I want to say that the aid that was given in March, April and May is a completely different aid than we receive today," Danilov explained.

The Secretary of the National Security Council thanked all partners for the assistance provided and reminded that now Ukraine is protecting "from this influx" not only itself, but also the whole of Europe.
