Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Russian Federation will continue the development of the nuclear triad. According to him, this is the main guarantee of preserving "Russian statehood and territorial integrity". The head of the Kremlin also stated that the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Russian Federation and all Russian commanders have no restrictions on funding.
"The country, the government give everything that the army asks for. Everything. I hope that the answer will be properly formulated and the corresponding results will be achieved," he said.
In addition, Putin said that some of the 300,000 mobilized Russians are already at the front, and 150,000 are undergoing training at the training grounds. He believes that this is enough to carry out the "operation".
The President of Russia said that the announcement of partial mobilization in the country revealed "certain problems" that need to be solved.
"First of all, it is necessary to modernize the system of military commissariats, this concerns the digitization of databases, interaction with local and regional authorities. The system of civil and territorial defense requires updating," Putin said.
The Russian president also stated that the hostilities in Ukraine outlined issues "on which we should work well." According to him, this is communication, automated control of troops and weapons, counter-battery tactics.
Vladimir Putin said that in all territories of the Russian Federation, "including the new ones, the safe life of our citizens will be ensured."
