The state budget of Ukraine received grant funds in the amount of 2 billion dollars from the Trust Fund of the World Bank. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
It is reported that this is already the second tranche of the $4.5 billion grant. The funds were provided by the States through the Trust Fund of the World Bank as part of the project "Supporting public expenditures to ensure sustainable public administration in Ukraine."
Thus, the funding involved will be directed to the provision of pension payments and salaries to civil defense workers, as well as to the payment of medical services under the medical guarantee program.
"Such help is extremely important, because it not only allows you to preserve the opportunity to make priority social payments on time and in full, but also does not increase the further debt burden on the state budget," said Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko.
We will remind, at the beginning of December, Ukraine received the first grant in the amount of 1.5 billion dollars from the USA.
