They are discussing whether Belarus will exist independently - Podolyak about Putin's meeting with Lukashenka

Mykhaylo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin came to Minsk to discuss with Lukashenka whether Belarus will exist independently. Podolyak stated this on the air of the telethon.

"It seems to me that they in Belarus are not discussing the SVO and whether Belarus will join the ground attack on the territory of Ukraine, they are rather discussing whether Belarus will exist independently," said Podolyak.

According to him, this meeting was held in order to strengthen integration within the framework of the centenary of the founding of the USSR, so that Russia took control of Belarus and Putin announced that he had begun to collect Soviet lands.

"That's what it's about. It seems to me that Lukashenko is receiving encouraging offers: either you are the governor, or you still remain the president, but we consider you the governor-general of Belarus," added the adviser to the head of the OP.
