Great Britain has announced a new package of military support for Ukraine, which will primarily include artillery ammunition. This was reported by the British government, talking about Sunak's visit to a meeting with the prime ministers of the countries of Northern Europe and the Netherlands in the format of "Joint Expeditionary Force", which is being held in Riga on December 19.
Sunak will discuss with partners efforts to counter Russian aggression in the region and urges them to maintain or increase the level of support for Ukraine in 2022.
"In parallel with his call, the UK will announce the future supply of hundreds of thousands of artillery munitions next year under a £250m contract, which will ensure a steady supply of vital artillery munitions to Ukraine through 2023."
Rishi Sunak personally informed President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi about this new support last week.
They also note that since February, Ukraine has received more than 100,000 ammunition from the United Kingdom in addition to another.
