President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy appealed to Western leaders to increase supplies of air defense to Ukraine. A 100% air shield for our country would be one of the best steps in countering Russian aggression.
The Guardian writes about it.
The President addressed the leaders of the countries that are part of the Joint Expeditionary Force and are meeting today, December 19, in Latvia.
According to the president, Russian aggression must fail and it must happen as soon as possible. Zelenskiy called on the West to do everything possible to speed up the defeat of the Russians.
The president added that as a result of night strikes, millions of people were left without heat and water.
"Let me ask you to increase the possibility of supplying air defense systems to our country... 100% air shield for Ukraine, this would be one of the most successful steps against Russian aggression, and this step is needed now," the president noted.
