Everything impossible is possible - Kuleba about supplying Patriot to Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, does not directly confirm Washington's agreement to transfer the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, but advises to wait for an official notification from the White House, stating that "everything is impossible." Kuleba told about this in an interview with Obozrevatel.

"There is information (about the US decision to supply Patriot), but we will leave the right to make it public to the White House. Patriot is one of the most difficult stories that the entire diplomatic team of President Zelenskiy has had to deal with. I can say only two things now. First. , the last conversation between Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Joe Biden was truly patriotic, and secondly, nothing is impossible. Everything impossible is possible if you work hard at it," Kuleba said.

He once again emphasized that we should wait for official announcements and expressed confidence that "sooner or later they will come."

Kuleba also said in this regard that "no matter how difficult the task may seem, no matter how much time it requires, if Ukraine starts working on it, it will eventually achieve its goal."

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also claims that Ukraine has unblocked almost all topics related to the supply of weapons with the exception of tanks in the dialogue with its partners, and expressed confidence that it will be possible to overcome this as well.

"Regarding weapons: we have one big topic left, on which there is still a taboo, and that is tanks. The rest, in principle, we have already started to receive. But we will remove this taboo, I have no doubts about it," said the minister.

"When the first Western tank arrives at the Armed Forces, I will easily be able to say that in terms of weapons, Ukraine has opened all the doors that were closed to it, not just with a lock, but also boarded up from the outside," he emphasized.

According to the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Ukraine is now at a level where, "in essence, it is capable of dictating (in the good sense of the word) the will of those who, let's be frank, did not even notice us with our problems and wishes 10 years ago."

At the same time, Kuleba emphasized that military aid to Ukraine is not charity, as "some critics" try to show.

"This is, firstly, an investment in their safety, the safety of those who give us these weapons. Secondly, this is, forgive me, payment for our own mistakes. If you have brought us to a situation where we die every day under conditions of Russian aggression, your supplies of weapons, energy equipment, and financial support to us are your compensation for these mistakes, because of which we ended up in this situation," said the minister.
