The Bulgarian Parliament finally approved the agreement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine

The Bulgarian Parliament on Friday finally approved the agreement on the supply of weapons, military equipment and ammunition to Ukraine, reports The Sofia Globe.

 It is noted that in the second reading, 166 Bulgarian parliamentarians voted for the approval of the agreement, while 48 members of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and the "Renaissance" party spoke against it.

 The publication notes that BSP members even asked the country's president, Rumen Radev, to veto the agreement.

 Last week, Bulgarian deputies voted to approve the list of weapons to be provided to Ukraine. At the moment, this list is classified.

 According to the acting the head of the country's defense department Dimitar Stoyanov, the list was classified due to the fact that it contains information about all the weapons and military equipment that is in Bulgaria.
