Hungary froze Russian assets worth almost 350 billion forints, i.e. 870 million euros, as of the end of November.
The Hungarian publication Nepszava writes about it.
This is a significant amount, even compared to other European countries, especially since before the November reporting, Budapest had notified Brussels of the seizure of only 3,000 euros.
Notably, significant sanctioned assets were discovered in Hungary in November, when Viktor Orbán's government's fight for EU funds with Brussels intensified.
According to the latest data, 2.3 billion euros have been frozen in Italy, 2.2 billion in Germany, almost 1.8 billion euros in Austria, while in Bulgaria it is 11.3 million, in the Czech Republic - 10.8 million, Slovakia - 4.9 million euros.
