The growth rate of the American economy in 2022 may exceed the dynamics of the Chinese economy for the first time, according to the forecasts of independent experts.
This was reported by the Twitter of US President Joe Biden.
Biden did not specify the source of the data, but Bloomberg analysts made a similar forecast in May.
They attributed this dynamic to the PRC's COVID-19 restrictions, lower retail sales and industrial production, leading to a "reversal of roles with potential political ramifications in both Beijing and Washington."
"This has not happened since 1976," he emphasized.
