According to Polish President Andrzej Duda, it would be most effective to locate Patriot air defense systems in Ukraine. However, the decision remains with Germany. Reuters writes about it.
As Duda explained, it would be better for the security of Poland if the air defense system was located in Ukraine, but near the border with his country.
"From a military point of view, it would be better if they were located in Ukraine to also protect Polish territory, then they would most effectively protect both Ukraine and Poland. But the decision remains with the German side," Duda said.
