Great Britain will hand over 120 special anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said.
"We will also provide new assistance, including 120 special anti-aircraft guns, and we will also provide additional assistance in the form of radars. We also provide training assistance for military medics and military engineers," Sunak said at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Kyiv on Saturday.
According to him, Great Britain is also increasing military and other aid in order to overcome the winter, in particular, it is transferring special winter equipment for the Ukrainian military. Sunak added that Britain also provides Ukraine with humanitarian aid in the total amount of more than 16 million pounds.
Great Britain will continue to provide aid to Ukraine until it achieves peace, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said.
"It is a great honor for me to stand here next to you. Today I am here to say that Great Britain will continue to provide assistance until Ukraine achieves the peace and security it should count on," Sunak said at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Kyiv on Saturday.
He emphasized that this year alone, Great Britain provided military aid to Ukraine in excess of 3 billion pounds.
"We will continue to provide assistance while you put pressure on Russian troops, while your infrastructure facilities, your houses are being destroyed," Sunak said.
The British Prime Minister noted that it is a great honor for Britain to host the conference on the restoration of Ukraine next year.
"We hope that we can end this barbaric war and ensure a just world where the rule of law prevails, where those who have committed crimes will be brought to justice, where there will be peace, respect for the sovereignty of this state," Sunak said.
