Today in Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met with Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis. The parties will discuss further support for Ukraine.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the head of state.
"During the meeting with the Executive Vice President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, they discussed the issue of urgent financial support for Ukraine until the end of this year and the coordination of plans for 2023," Zelenskiy said.
According to the president, he also discussed the Fast Recovery Plan for housing and social infrastructure facilities with the vice president of the European Commission.
"And the involvement of the European Commission in the launch of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. In particular, by working out the mechanism for using frozen Russian assets on the territory of the EU," Zelenskiy added.
Today it became known that the vice-president of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, arrived in Kyiv. During his visit, he also managed to meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
