Kuleba denied statements about pushing Ukraine to negotiate with the Russian Federation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, refuted the discussions that arise in the media environment regarding the possible pressure on Ukraine regarding negotiations with the Russian Federation and how far Kyiv can go in liberating its territories. He stated that talks about Ukraine being subjected to any kind of incitement are meaningless.

"Talks about Ukraine tolerating or succumbing to some kind of incitement are absurd. I generally advise everyone to leave this prehistoric perception of Ukraine as someone who is being pressured and forced. Today, Ukraine is pressuring and forcing. We are creating a new history together with those in the world , who stands side by side with us," he wrote on Facebook.

Kuleba once again emphasized that Ukraine will continue to liberate its territories from Russian invaders in accordance with internationally recognized borders, and "does not even theoretically consider any concessions on the issue of Crimea."

He also added that the country does not refuse to end the war through diplomatic means, but the Kremlin is not ready to negotiate at the moment.

"Ukraine does not give up diplomacy. But the Kremlin's current statements about its alleged readiness for negotiations are just a smokescreen. Russia is playing constructive, but in fact wants to take a break to recover from defeats and later continue the war with new strength. We will not go for that and we call on our partners not to play along with Moscow," the minister noted.
