Podolyak gave four reasons why you can't "freeze" a counterattack

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, named four reasons why Ukraine cannot and does not intend to "freeze" a counteroffensive in winter. Podoliak told about this in an interview with Der Standard newspaper.

"Ukraine has absolutely no reason to end this offensive," Podolyak noted.

According to him, firstly, if Ukraine stops, Russia will use the time to prepare troops, send these troops to Ukraine and strengthen its positions.

"Secondly, Ukraine must move in all directions. There is also war in Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk. We must continue to fight on all fronts. Thirdly, Russia is in a very demoralized state. After Kherson returned to Ukraine, the Russians fell into depression," added the advisor to the President's Office.

Podolyak also emphasized that the fourth point is that if the Ukrainian offensive slows down, the Western partners may get tired of the war and insist on negotiations.
