Journalists of foreign mass media were stripped of their accreditation due to reports from liberated Kherson

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that journalists of foreign mass media were deprived of their accreditation due to reports from Kherson, liberated from Russian occupation.

"A number of media representatives who violated the rules of work in the area of hostilities have had their work permits revoked and their press cards invalidated," the statement said.

It is noted that some media representatives, ignoring the existing prohibitions and warnings, without the consent of the relevant commanders and public relations services of the military units, carried out information activities in Kherson even before the completion of stabilization measures.

Such actions are a gross violation of the requirements of the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine No. 73 dated 03.03.2022, as well as the relevant orders of the military command.

As "Detector Media" reports with reference to sources, at least six journalists from film crews, including CNN and SkyNews, have had their work permits revoked. In addition to them, the film crews "Suspilne" and Hromadske also worked in Kherson after the liberation. There was also a broadcast from Kherson on the Rada channel.
