President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy congratulated Poland on Independence Day.
"Native Poland! Your renewed independence is 104 years old today. And my words to you. Ukraine and Poland together. You are our sister. It was different between us. But we are relatives. We are free. When our renewed independence was thirty years old, Poland was nearby. I remember our shared happiness - we were happy together. When we again faced an old and common enemy, Poland was nearby. Ukrainians will always remember this," Zelenskiy said.
He emphasized that Ukrainians will always remember how the Polish people help them. How are they helping us?
"Your people are our allies. Your country is our sister. Your friendship is forever. Our love is forever. And together we are winners. Happy Independence Day, Poland! Happy Independence Day, dear!" - noted Zelenskiy.
