NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is impressed with the skills Ukrainian soldiers have acquired in just a few weeks of training in Great Britain.
He shared these impressions on Wednesday after visiting the center of the military training program of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Lydd Army Camp, which took place as part of a visit to Great Britain.
"I am amazed by what I saw. I have seen the skills, the dedication of the Ukrainian soldiers who are training here, and I am inspired by how much they are learning, how much they can achieve in just a few weeks, and I am sure that this will make a difference on the battlefield in Ukraine." - said Stoltenberg.
In this regard, he expressed his gratitude to the United Kingdom, Canada, Lithuania and "other countries that participate in these exercises to support Ukraine in the defense of its country."
"NATO allies and partners support Ukraine at an unprecedented level. But Great Britain has been a leading country in these efforts for many months," the NATO Secretary General noted.
He also thanked the United Kingdom and Defense Secretary Ben Wallace for "having me here today."
"This is an important example of how Great Britain is a highly valued NATO ally, which is of great importance when it comes to providing training support to Ukraine," Stoltenberg added.
